Jindabyne and a little Devils Tongue

ChinkWith Teddy on the mend we have had the chance to explore Jindabyne and Thredbo a little more the last few days. Greg took the girls up the mountain on the Scenic Chairlift and they were treated to some wonderful views and Jemma finally got to have her snow fight with Jasmine!  Greg also took the girls on the bobsled in Thredbo and they  LOVED it. Unfortunately we made the decision to keep Teddy home and warm so I missed out but I am looking forward to coming back, there is so much to offer during Summer too!

Merimbula to Jindabyne

Aqu_FoodAs I write this journal entry I am soaking up the most beautiful day by the lake in Jindabyne, we were preparing for cold but the day is as warm as Merimbula here in Jindy.  Now I'm getting ahead of myself, I have lots to catch you up on!

After  lovely day of rest on Sunday and a great game of football (GO THE DRAGONS!!), we woke to a bit of rain Monday morning so we swapped a few things around on the itinerary and instead of Magic Mountain we visited the Merimbula Aquarium.  Situated on the Merimbula Wharf, it was a lovely spot.  We took in the tour of the Aquarium that was absolutely incredible.  During the tour we were taken around to every tank as the fed the inhabitants of that tank, and explained all about the fish.  It was explained so well that all of us, even Jemma could understand what was being said, and as we moved around the different tanks everyone got the opportunity to be in front to be able to see.

Oysters to DRAGONS!!

Jem_and_TedWith another beautiful day on Saturday, we started with a tour of Wheeler's Oysters between Merimbula and Pambula. This was something that Greg and I were really looking forward to as we love oysters, Jasmine didn't quite know what to expect and Jemma and Teddy just go with the flow!

Sapphire Coast GEM!

BeachHave I told you how much I love my job!

Not only do I love bringing you our adventures, but we have just been shown the Sapphire Coast like I have never seen, even though we are regulars down here! And it's only the first day :)

What I loved the most about today was that Sam, from Sapphire Coast Tourism has created the greatest itinerary for us!  All I had to do was be on time - and for once in my life (well twice actually today) I was on time.  We have made the most of our day without being too busy to think, if you left it up to us we would have decided what we were doing about lunchtime and missed half the day!
